…In our living room hangs a sign that says: “Having someplace to go is home. Having someone to love is family. Having both is a blessing.”

It is my prayer that as we grow and invite others to come and sit at the Lord’s Table with us for a family meal, we will be for one another brothers and sisters in Christ. We do so knowing that we share a common calling as Jesus’ disciples and trusting that each one of us is covered by the same fingerprints of God. May Eastminster, for many, be a place to call home forever.

We give thanksgiving to God whose promised presence with us, says, “With me, my children, you will always have home and family.” As I begin ministry with you, may we all, through the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, find a place to kick off our shoes, get cozy and enjoy being  together as we serve our Lord.

For the journey:  may the living Lord go with us; behind us to encourage us; beside us to befriend us; above us to watch over us; within us to give us the gifts of faith, hope and love; and always before us, showing us the way.  Amen.
