Worship Service for 11/22/2020
Welcome!
This Sunday, November 22, known as Christ the King is considered the last Sunday of the Christian year. This day completes the Christian journey through the life of Jesus Christ on earth and in heaven which began with the preparation for the birth of Jesus in Advent. On Christ the King Sunday, Christians recognize and worship Christ as king of heaven and earth for all time without challenge and without end. As is our tradition, we will be celebrating Holy Communion as we close out this liturgical year.
Below are the prayers concerns we have received at the time of this email.
PRAYERS
We keep both the Thiebaud family and the Bell family in our prayers as they are faced with the realities of COVID19, in addition to cancer.
For all lives affected by this virus, we pray: those who are ill; those who are care-givers for the ill; the families who have lost loved one; the medical and medical research communities; those who have lost employment; and those whose mental, physical, and spiritual lives are suffering.
We pray for Christ’s church in all places, and we pray for our congregation at Eastminster
May the Spirit be between you and me as we are absent one from another!
