Worship Service for 12/24/2020

GREETINGS!
And so, it is Christmas Eve again. The décor may be different this year. There is no sanctuary tree full of lights and ornaments. There are no poinsettias or greenery or candles. Instead of gathering, like villagers long ago, in one place, we are scattered. The décor is different, the day of this celebration, the same.  We come, like people have come for thousands of year, to hear this word of peace, this word of hope, to proclaim the birth of this tiny child that will bring us eternal joy and life. May God who has brought us again to this Christmas Eve give us such wonder at the birth of Jesus, that we may go from here with the joy that changes our lives and the life of all the world.
